During the early stages of this church, we are meeting in the Goebel’s home on Sunday mornings at 9:30. This is a relaxed gathering, everyone is welcome. We meet for Morning Prayer according to the ACNA’s Book of Common Prayer, (2019), followed by a casual brunch. We also meet during the week for more time of community building and study while we share a great meal together.

First and foremost, as Anglicans we are Christians. The Anglican Church formed with a commitment to both Scripture and the tradition of the church. We are part of the Anglican Church of North America. You can find more info about Anglicanism here. The Anglican way of following Jesus is a beautiful, faithful, and tested way. We’d love to share more with you.

Yes, we would love to have you as a part of this community. We believe the church is actually supposed to be a place where you can belong even before you believe. So, we hope and pray that Polson Anglican Mission will be a church of hospitality, and welcome, even if you aren’t a Christian.

These four things describe the beauty of the Anglican tradition. The Anglican Way of worship is historical; it is tried and true. We aren’t making anything new up, but instead receive the teachings and liturgy of the early church.

Our worship is sacramental for two reasons. First, our regular gathering is centered around the Eucharist (The Lord’s Supper, Holy Communion, etc.). In the Eucharist (which means thanksgiving) we participate in a feast in which we are fed spiritually and empowered for the work God has given us to do. Secondly, we believe that God is at work in this world. He often works through everyday ordinary objects. Thus our worship remembers and recognizes the powerful ways in which God is working in our world.

Our worship is liturgical, as it follows the ACNA’s Book of Common Prayer 2019. The Book of Common Prayer was origianlly composed in the mid 16th century. Anglicans like to describe it as scripture arranged for prayer and worship. You can read more here.‍ ‍

Our worship is contemplative, as we think it is important to take time to listen to the voice of God. We do this through quiet, intentional, and reflective worship. In the midst of our busy, loud, and distracting world, this is a chance to listen to the still small voice of God (1 Kings 19:11-12).
